Criticism can feel painful, triggering self-doubt, defensiveness, or resentment. But what if criticism wasn’t something to fear or avoid? What if, instead, it could be a powerful tool for self-discovery and growth?
In this course, we’ll use The Work of Byron Katie to explore the thoughts and emotions that arise when we feel criticized. You’ll learn how to identify and question painful beliefs and find freedom—no matter what others say.
This course can be taken independently. If you're not available at 10am PT, you can watch the session at a different time that day. You will be invited to pair up with other participants to do The Work each week and you will be able to participate in the forum discussions.
🔹 Identify and question stressful thoughts about criticism
🔹 Discover what criticism reveals about your own beliefs
🔹 Experience the shift from defensiveness to curiosity and self-awareness
🔹Experience greater peace and confidence in the face of judgment
Instead of resisting or fearing criticism, you’ll have the chance to practice accepting it as a gift—one that can bring you closer to yourself and others
As with all of my courses you will have access to recordings of the live sessions, handouts, exercises, opportunities to pair up with other participants to do The Work and a supportive group of participants who want to grow with The Work of Byron Katie. You will be able to go back to review this course after it's over.
Are you ready to turn criticism into your greatest teacher? Join me and let’s do The Work together.
“Defense is the first act of war. If you tell me that I’m mean, rejecting, hard, unkind, or unfair, I say, “Thank you, sweetheart, I can find all these in my life, I have been everything you say, and more. Together we can help me understand. Without you, how can I know the places in me that are unkind and invisible? So, sweetheart, look into my eyes and tell me again. I want you to give me everything.” - Byron Katie
